It was located in the riverbank in the Flats, by Riverbend Street from Columbus Road to the Detroit-Superior Bridge on the west bank of the Cuyahoga River.The site was excavated by a group of volunteers led by Dr. Al Lee. One of the volunteers was Sharon Baker.
